To start processing payments for your shop, you'll need to create a Stripe account.

What is Stripe?

Stripe is the payment solution we've chosen to manage transactions for your Picksale online shop. Efficient, simple, and secure, Stripe is trusted by small businesses and a variety of bigger businesses and organizations (British Council, Slack, Flipdish, and many more!). Why Stripe?

Stripe is an e-commerce dedicated platform, offering a smooth and secure payment experience for your customers. It comes with numerous features:

  • Customizations: The payment page will reflect the colors and logo you've chosen for your shop.
  • Dashboard: Stripe provides a comprehensive dashboard where you can view all your receipts in detail. Each order generates a Stripe receipt that you can access from your order management dahsboard on Picksale (learn more).
  • Refunds: Refunds via Stripe are simple and fast (learn more).

Create an account

To create a Stripe account, you'll need to click the button that will appear in your dashboard at if you don't already have a Stripe account linked to your Picksale account.

Follow the instructions, and your Picksale account will be automatically linked to your Stripe account. If everything goes smoothly, your shop will be ready to process payments!

Unlink your account

You can unlink your Stripe account from Picksale by accessing your settings at the bottom of the page in the danger zone.
