Tutorial : Your first shop with Picksale step by step

Setting up your first shop on PickSale is easy. Personalize your storefront to reflect your unique style and brand ! Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started:

Create account and shop

Once you’ve signed up on PickSale, navigate to your dashboard by clicking on the Manage shop button in the top right corner of your navigation bar. From there, proceed to set up your shop details

User name
Shop name
Shop url

Don’t worry these can be adjusted later in your account settings under parameters.

Customise Shop

PickSale provides numerous customization options to make your shop stand out. Navigate to the design menu to begin crafting a unique look for your shop. As you make changes, you can preview them on the right side of your window. Remember, your alterations will only become visible to others once you've clicked the Update shop button.

Upload your images

Each shop on PickSale can enhance its appeal with customized images:

Logo: Optimal size is 250x250 pixels.
Header Banner: Ideal dimensions are 1250x200 pixels.
Footer Banner: Also recommended at 1250x200 pixels.

Feel free to update or replace these images at any time to keep your shop's appearance fresh and engaging.

Pick a Font and Colors

PickSale allows you to select a font from a variety of options provided for your shop. Once chosen, this font will be applied consistently across all elements of your shop, including products, titles, descriptions, custom pages, and more.

You can easily set the colors for buttons and text throughout your shop. To customize each element, simply click on the color swatches and choose your preferred color using the color picker, the color palette, or by entering Hex or RGB codes directly.

Create Categories

You can structure your shop by organizing products into categories, each creating a new tab in your shop with associated products listed. To begin, navigate to the "Manage categories" option in the Shop menu. Click on "Add a category" and enter the name of your new category. You can modify category names or delete categories from the same window. Note that when you modify a category name, the products assigned to it remain unchanged. Once created, categories can be assigned to your products and used for filtering in the Shop menu on your dashboard. Empty categories will display an empty product listing on your shop until products are added to them.

Add your first products

Once your shop design and categories are set up, it's time to create your first product.

Navigate to the Shop menu and click the + button under List of your products to access the product creation form.

For each product, include:

Pictures : The first picture on the left will be displayed prominently.
Title and Product Description : Clearly describe your product to attract buyers.
Category : Assign a category if needed to organize your products.
Product Options : Add different setups with various prices (e.g., prints with or without a frame). You must have at least one product option with a price to make your product available.
Delivery Profile : Select the delivery options and specify the delivery price for each product item. Default options include free shipping or standard letter (20g). You must select at least one delivery option to make your product available. You can also create custom delivery profiles.

Once all fields are filled, click the Create product button. Your new product will now be visible in your store. You can view your store at any time by clicking the View shop button in the top right corner of the navigation bar.

You can edit your product at any time by clicking on it on the shop menu tab :
